Rotten Lens is my creepy content YouTube channel, inspired by my childhood watching shows like Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction, A Haunting, and Unsolved Mysteries. Even though I'm a natural skeptic, I enjoy suspending my disbelief just long enough to give myself goosebumps. The paranormal is almost like a form of magic that is somewhat socially acceptable for people to believe in. This Strange Legends series is my little love letter to the genre. Most of the footage is mixed digital media / reenactments that I created using After Effects and Premiere. I made these videos before AI generation consumed media production, so I'm proud of the long amount of time it took to create some of these seemingly simple effects and clips. For more local locations, my cousin and I visited them in person to shoot our own footage as well.
